Who We Are
Jumbo was established and is managed by three friends, Sam Ludbey-Stynes, Kirsty Fletcher and Tahnaya O’Malley who are experienced and qualified educators and parents.
Sam Ludbey-Stynes, wife of the late AFL legend Jim Stynes, was Director of the childcare business Pacific Early Learning Group that comprised of 16 childcare centres. After her husband’s death, it was sold to G8 Education.
A qualified early learning and primary school teacher with a Masters in Education Sam is passionate about her own childcare business and capturing Jim’s legacy, Sam also founded the Jim Stynes Foundation.
Kirsty is a qualified early learning, kindergarten and primary school teacher. Kirsty comes from a family of teachers and has spent many years instructing and teaching adult learning. Kirsty brings an intelligent and invigorating energy to Jumbo. She has a great affinity with children and an ability to communicate in a way that brings out the very best of the children’s personalities.
Passionate about early childhood education, Tahnaya has worked in the industry for over ten years. Her nurturing personality helps create secure and respectful relationships with children.
